  • Writing: Experienced magazine, newspaper and business writer. My byline has appeared in the Tampa Bay Times and Ponte Vedra Lifestyle magazine, and online at LifeQuestfla.org and PGATOUR.COM. Articles include investigative, breaking news, restaurant reviews, columns, sports, blogs, and features.
  • Editing: Edit corporate-level publications for Donate Life Florida highlighting National Donate Life Month and National Multicultural Donor Awareness Month. Developed stories and programming as community editor for PGATOUR.COM. Budgeted, wrote, edited, and coordinated photography for the weekly education page at the Tampa Bay Times’ Hernando bureau.
  • Business Writing: Produce public presentations with a high level of sensitivity for Donate Life Florida/LifeQuest, a nonprofit division of University of Florida Health.
  • Speaker: Deliver presentations to more than 5,000 students and adults each year. Proven ability to handle live events and speaking to large crowds with confidence.

Professional highlights include:

•Blog and speak to thousands each year about sharing the Gift of Life for Donate Life Florida and LifeQuest/UF Health.

•Exposed a modern-day horse rustling ring with an investigative piece in the Tampa Bay Times.

•Designed advanced curriculum for K-8 gifted learners at the School of Arts and Sciences, named one of the nation's top model schools by The International Center for Leadership in Education and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

•Provided tournament coverage, live scoring and breaking news for the PGA TOUR and PGA Tour Champions. Traveled to event locations where I interviewed celebrities, agents, and golfers like Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia.

•Raised awareness and, in turn, enough money to save a 50-year-old community library in Aripeka, FL.

•Highlighted accomplishments of the elderly in a weekly editorial, Life in the Past Lane, for Tampa Bay Times.

•Profiled local theater, festivals, and clubs for weekly entertainment page Steppin’ Out.

•Weekly education page, Top of the Class, was recognized for positive school coverage.
